Laptop Gets Very HOT

Laptop Symptoms

• Your Laptop uncomfortably hot on your lap

• Fans constantly running

• Your laptop seems to be running slower than normal

• Laptop turns off after a couple of minutes, leave it for 10 minutes or so and it turns back on.

What tends to happen is your laptop pulls in cool air through the bottom vents, and then the fan inside your laptop pushes out the hot air, thus cooling down the laptop, but when the vent that the hot air is pushed out of gets clogged with fluff, pet hairs, dust or a combination of all, then the laptop fan can't expel the hot air, so the fan is constantly spinning to try and cool down the laptop, but it can't, the laptop gets hotter and hotter, starts to run a lot slower than it normally would, and may even eventually start to turn it self off. Leave it turned off for 10 minutes or so and it will turn back on. At this point you should get your laptop repaired ASAP buy a qualified and experienced Laptop Repair Engineer, as at Platinum Computers with over 20 years individual experience.

If you don't get the laptop repaired, which entails dismantling the laptop in most cases and cleaning out the vents and removing the fan and cleaning it. If you don't get the laptop repaired then you could be running your laptop in to the ground, the laptop is running hotter than it was designed to run, and you could be burning the internal parts out.
